Walt Disney Company Ticker: $DIS Market Cap: 341.8 Billion Assets: 201.5 Billion Subsidiaries: Disney +, Pixar, Hulu, ESPN, FX, ABC, etc First, Disney is a safe as fuck investment. It’s a blue chip and should be a part of your portfolio. But fuck portfolios, this is a casino, so why will Disney moon? Why the fuck does Disney need a DD? Well, I'm Long $DIS, but today will also make for a good earnings play. Disney Plus. Have you heard about it? Well, millennials with kids sure have. As the millenials start pumping out babies after 12 months of social distancing, they’ll quickly learn kids get bored easily, and fast. Disney Plus will be as big as Netflix in a few years, and will probably eclipse it for multiple reasons. They have a huge library that they own themselves, and the ability to have streaming premiers, etc. Not to mention the package with Hulu and ESPN. Netflix has a market cap of around 250 billion with only 40 billion in assets and 1.5 Debt-to-Equity vs Disney 0.7 Don’t get me wrong, I’m long Netflix too, but clearly $DIS is the better deal here when you consider their other revenue streams. The fucking rocketship that Disney Plus is has only just started getting priced in, and is where Netflix was 6-7 years ago, but with an accelerated course to get there since people already adopted streaming. They also own their own content and have been producing since their inception, and have a better moat than Netflix. Even if the revenue from Disney+ doesn't match Netflix, they'll be able to pull a bigger profit and recycle old IP. Oh, let's not get into sports. ESPN, Cricket, etc. Mickey already has his dirty paws in everything. More independent services to charge for. Their earnings have taken a hit from their parks and experiences being limited from COVID. But the vaccine is rolling out, and their peak profit from this is in the Summer, where COVID transmissibility tends to be low, and partying tends to be high. This will have a much less effect on earnings than predicted the parks get busier this year with vaccinated people ready to go HAM from a year of isolation. Their parks are operating at 35% capacity, but they aren't at capacity for the bulk of the year. Even if the parks take a significant hit this year, it won’t even be noticed as $DIS tears through hyperspace. Fuck the moon. We’re talking Star WarsTM type intergalactic travel. 🚀 Revenue Streams Media Networks: 28.4 Billion Parks/Experiences: 16.5 Billion Studio Entertainment: 9.64 Billion Other: 17 Billion Earnings Play As for an earnings play, they report today. This is a casino. They’re still holding low considering the uncertainty with their parks, but park travel is low in the winter, and should have a low effect on earnings. But while kids were home, not in school, and causing a ruckus, Disney + subs increased dramatically over the Fall. Look at Google Trends and notice the clear increase over Q4, probably fueled by the Mandalorian and the holiday classics people go nuts for. TLDR (and for those of you that can't read) $DIS 🚀🚀🚀 Positions: 10c 2/12 $190 10c 3/29 $200 5c 6/17/22 $250 95 shares at $113 AH Edit #1: Get fucked bears Edit #2: this stock is a bargain below $250. We'll be trading at $300 by EOY
What's up dingleberry danglers! It's ya boy, Agent00Funk, here to welcome you back to another edition of the TendieDome! That's right, its time for another wall of text for your literary entertainment, definitely not for your financial advice. By popular request, I even figured out how to add pictures. Keanu help us. If you're as illiterate as a Mississippi high school drop-out, go ahead and skip to the bottom for the TL;DR and my positions. I don't wanna hear no bitching about your lack of attention span, alright, because I will call you a slack-jawed cousin-fucker. Bet. So staple your eye shades open, Clockwork Orange style, and get ready to be blown away by how one of America's worst companies is gonna make you tendies. Those of you that have been following my DDs know that I'm not about rocket ships, I'm not gonna send you to the moon or Mars (but Uranus is in the cards). No, no, no, my sweet little summer autists, my plays are are all about steady accumulation of tendies. The goal? Acquire enough tendies so you can buy a first class ticket on whatever rocket a superior autist says is launching. Most of my plays are LONG term HOLDs, today's is a slight exception as we're looking for a Q3 or Q4 pay out. Maybe one day I'll grace you with my casino plays, but before I do that, we gotta make sure you're bringing enough dough to the paste-eating competition. And I sure as shit don't want y'all dick whistlers to blame me when the casino play doesn't pan out, so we're sticking with safe territory for now. Alright, now that I've masturbated enough and have that post-nut clarity to tell you why you should be putting money in CMCSA. That's right you little chode yodlers, muthafucking Comcast. Lots of you are probably already their customer, and have evolved to instantly wanna shit on Comcast. I don't blame you, they seriously suck, bunch of fucking assholes. But you know what sucky fucky assholes do? Make stacks on stacks on stacks. They're fucking you, AND taking your money. These guys have prostitution really figured out....you don't even know that you their ho. So, let's channel our inner Charlie, and do some Pepe Silivia deep dive due diligence. That's right, it's not just a DD like your wife's bra, we're going for the DDDD! This is us rn. Would you take financial advice from this guy? So, CMCSA....where do even start? The highway-robbery pricing (tendies)? The understaffed and overworked employees (tendies)? The geographical monopolies they hold? (tendies). The reliance on dumbfuck Boomers as a customer base (I wanna hear the choir sing it with me now:...tendies)? No, no, no....you may be retarded, but you know when you're getting fucked, and you know you pay for getting fucked anyway, just like everyone else (tendies). fr fr CMCSA basically makes money in two ways: 1.) fucking you. 2.) fucking others. But wait! There's more! They have even more ways of taking money from you and everybody else, and if your goldfish attention span can handle it, you'll see what I'm talking about. Oh and charts. I do have charts. Fuck, me and Billie Eyelash have been spending so much time in the Crayon Room together, those charts have so many colors, most of them green. Before I bust out these fucking rainbow crayons, let's cover some ground facts. For the Europoors among us, you may be shocked to find out that most Americans have NO CHOICE in who their ISP is. I know, cue the Sarah McLachlan and charity pitch, it's fucking pathetic. Free markets, my ass. But you know what that means? Tendies. That's right, Comcast has the most little fiefdoms of all the ISPs in the land. Only $T can compete, but here's the kicker: people have been ditching $T for CMCSA. Why? Because $T offers DSL in a gigabit world, that's locked inside because of a pandemic, re-discovering what made cyber sex so awkward over AIM, but now with cameras! (All the real Gs were around for that A/S/L/ convo, shit was Catfish City). So, while all you fuckwads are going to work in your Superman pajamas on Zoom, more people signed up for that sweet, sweet broadband., so they too could go to work in their Cookie Monster pajamas. (Mine are camouflaged, my co-workers don't even know I'm there, they just see square burger patties getting flipped on the griddle and are like "woooooooooooooaaah") I know you bell-end ringers don't read, but you can read a little more about subscriber increases here: (https://www.cnbc.com/2021/01/28/comcast-cmcsa-q4-2020-earnings.html) Did you notice that link? CNBC? Reputable shit, right? I know some of you motherfuckers pay CMCSA like $200/month just to watch that shit, along with 400 other channels of garbage. That's right Europoors, CMCSA isn't just an ISP with a monopoly, it's a cable TV provider with a monopoly (tendies). And you know what else? They own CNBC. Fuck, they own ALL of NBC. Now, I know, some of you more erudite ballsack gargglers already know this, but let's let the retards catch up. Because, guess what you molasses racers, CMCSA also owns Universal Studios. For the nerds in the front row, shut the fuck up, we already know you're smart. Are you seeing this shit? Like, seriously, are you piecing this shit together? CMCSA owns the pipes, CMCSA owns the shit in them, large swatches of America have no choice except CMCSA, and more people need those shitty ass pipes, because it's way fucking better than the old ass copper $T is selling. "Alright," you say, "CMCSA would've been a good pandemic play, what's the bull case looking forward?" Well tug my dick and call me Rick, that's why we're here. I can already tell this is going become a damn book of retardation, so I'm going to add some chapters. TV Subscriptions. We've got the finest stock art, just for you This is the weakest part of CMCSA, everyone is cutting the cord, they're sticking to streaming, but if you check that link above, you'll see that they actually managed to add over 400k new subscribers. Sure, some of that can be attributed to people being bored as fuck at home during the pandemic and figuring they'll get 400 channels of dog vomit to help ease their soul-crushing ennui. There aren't a lot of reasons to expect these growth figures to continue, except one, which I will get to in a bit, but I do think they'll be a bit sticky. Why? Fucking Boomers man. Boomers have this very strange addiction to channel surfing. I don't get it. They just sit there and flip through 400 channels at 10 channels/second for hours on hours on hours. They aren't even watching anything, just surfing. Don't believe me? Go ask a Boomer near you how much time they spend channel surfing and why they won't give it up. They love complaining about it too: "all these fucking channels, and nothing to watch." If you point out that they could just STREAM something they want to watch, they just go right back to surfing, because they don't actually know what they want to watch. TV may be going the way of the dinosaur, but there are still lots of dinosaurs surfing channels for now, hell, they even picked up more. How? Is it all just bored people signing up for TV during the pandemic? Maybe, but I've got another theory about geography! Internet Subscriptions Yup. So, even though people may be cutting the cord, they can't do that without internet, and...well....yeah, CMCSA may see declines from TV subscriptions, but definitely not internet subscriptions, not this year anyway. Again, I refer to the earnings report to show you jello heads the subscription numbers. I'm not going to belabor this point much, surely you know people need broadband, and CMCSA is the only game in town in many places. Geographic Monopolies in Growth Markets Awwww yiiissss gimme Park Place If you've been reading along thus far, congratulations, you'll remember that we talked about the little fiefdom monopolies these guys have across the country. So, where are those fiefdoms located? Right here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_communities_served_by_Comcast Now, I won't bust out the charts for population growth in all of these, because there is a fuck ton, but even just looking at Alabama (Roll Tide), you see that 80% of their markets in that state are growth markets, and only 1 is showing population decline.... and they're only in 6 markets there! Now, they don't hold 80% of growth markets in every state, but they hold a lot. This means that as these cities attract more people and grow, those poor saps will have no choice but to sign up for CMCSA if they want TV and/or internet. Yes, goons and goblins, CMCSA doesn't just have a captive audience, it has a captive audience in places where the audience is growing. Do I really need to spell out how these equates to tendies? Want to know something even better? Biden's infrastructure plan includes heaps of money for increasing broadband access to underserved and rural communities, communities that will then become part of CMCSA's growing fiefdoms. Streaming Trying to catch my shows fresh from the stream with my bare hands CMCSA has also launched its own streaming service, Peacock, and if you look at the CNBC link, you can see subscriber numbers for that as well. Seeing the writing on the wall, CMCSA has gotten in on making money from cord-cutters. Again, CMCSA owns the entire NBC and Universal Studios catalog, but it really doesn't matter because just like a bunch of people signed up for Disney+ just to watch The Mandalorian, a bunch of people have and will sign up for Peacock just to watch The Office. And yeah, it fucking sucks that before you could have Hulu and Netflix and not need any more streaming services, that they are Balkanizing the streaming space just like they did with cable, and now you need like 20 different apps, but go look at the Universal/NBC catalog and tell me that you wouldn't pay $5/month for access to it if you couldn't get it anywhere else. I mean shit. WWE is exclusive to Peacock...do I need to say more? Do you smell-l-l-l-l-l what The Funk is cooking? Theme Parks and the Recovery Who else re-installing RCT2? Here's a kick in the pants that you didn't expect. Universal studios. That's right, these motherfuckers got their own janky-ass wannabe Disney World. Hell, if anyone ever does open a Jurassic Park, it'll be CMCSA because they've got the rights to it and know how to run a theme park. How much do they add? About $6 billion/year (pre 2020). How much did they make in 2020? $1.8 billion. There's $4 billion set to come back into the pot. But wait, there's more! They're going to open their largest park ever this year, been building it since 2016, and the opening has been confirmed despite the Rona. Where? In Beijing, so you know the place is gonna be huge and full. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Studios_Beijing So as the vaccine gets out there, the world returns to "normal" and people go spend absurd amounts of money to slide across bits of metal, not only will missing revenue return, but CMCSA is ready to make the pot bigger. When is it opening? May. This is important because we're not looking for a pay-out until after the park has opened. If you feel more retarded after having read this far, imagine how retarded I am for having written all that linguistic linguini. So, now that we know what the bull case for CMCSA is, let's bust out those crayons and look at some charts to get the full confirmation-bias effect and look at possible entry and exit points. CRAYON ROOM TIME! I don't know if this will be mo bigga when you fumble fucks look at it, I'm too retarded to figure out formatting. I really don't know fuck about shit when it comes to numbers, but I do know the lines look pretty. So, let's run this down real fast. This is a weekly chart going back to 2018. I wanted to go that far back to show you two things. 1.) CMCSA recovered from a dip in 2018 much like it has from the COVID dip, and is on pace to match or exceed it's growth average since 2018. 2.) Annual dividend increases of around 10%. Looking at the chart, there is no reason not to expect the same announcement towards the end of the year, and in fact the next quarterly dividend has already received the increase. I've got a few other lines in there, but what I want to point out is how much the price rises above the moving price average, weather measured as a simple moving price average or within Bollinger Bands. Dips below the average tend to recover and be above the average again within 2-3 weeks. Crayons are awesome. I should invest in Crayola. Now let's look a little at demand. Again, this is a weekly chart, but this time we're mostly going to be focusing on the right side of the chart. The top chart is a Stochastic Full measurement, the two horizontal blue lines represent oversold (top) and overbought (bottom). Generally speaking, if a stock is oversold, the price goes down, people buy, and the price goes up, leading to a position of it being overbought where people sell for profit, price goes down, and rinse and repeat. The squiggly lines are the two measurements of where the stock is in relation to being oversold or overbought. So what is it showing us? That the stock was recently oversold, and is heading towards being overbought. Best time to get in would've been 2 weeks ago, but try posting a DD on WSB back then that wasn't about the holy trinity cult. So what does this mean? Well, buying now could lead to a little rise followed by a little dip as it fluctuates between oversold and overbought. The second graphs is the MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) this chart essentially measures sentiment, if it's up, it's bullish, if it's down, its bearish. I know some of you eggheads will correct me with finer points, but I don't have time to write a textbook that I'm incapable of understanding. As you can see, it has leveled off, which makes me believe it will dip, this also corresponds to it's movements in the Stochastic measurements. So don't buy at open, watch it for a bit, it might dip. The third graph...I have no fucking clue y'all. It had the word "projection" in it, and the line is pointing up, and that was good enough for me. Timing and Prices If you can get in for under $50, do it. I'm not sure if it will dip that low again soon, but it's within possibility. Calls aren't terribly priced, they're not the value they were 2 weeks ago when I first wanted to write this, but they're still a good value, especially for July and beyond, which is the timeframe we're looking at for an exit. Or not. I mean, you could sit on this shit forever and not really have to worry, which is another thing I like about it. But I have calls for July and October and may even pick up the 2022 LEAPs. We're looking for two events to provide a nice pop for our exits; the new park opening and Q3 earnings report that should include initial earnings from the parks, both new and re-opened. We want to see if the customers are going back to the parks, and returning that missing money into the pot, and we want to see how growth of broadband customers has increased. But again, don't sweat too much about timing and prices, this thing just keeps marching upwards. Positions CMCSA Shares CMCSA 16 July $50c CMCSA 15 Oct $52.5c Tl;dr CMCSA. No rockets, but good value. 7/10 Would buy again. DISCLAIMER: I don't know what I'm doing, you listen to me at your own peril, please leave me alone SEC.
Forest Acquisition Corp (FRX) - Why I Like this Stock
I had been looking for another SPAC to jump into and came across Forest Acquisition Corp (FRX) on the day of the merger announcement. With SPACs, we place greater emphasis on management's proven history and trust their ability to invest in a potentially growing and profitable business. FRX has a strong management team with proven experience in expanding digital platforms such as Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu. We all have seen how fast those platforms have grown over the last few years with increased viewership and growing revenues along those segments. With the growing demand for health and wellness, I can see why they have chosen to invest in this industry given the success Pelaton ($43b) has had along with the limited number of true competitors in the industry. Along with former Disney and TikTok executives, I also came across Fertitta Capital. Who are they you ask? Lorenzo Fertitta: Former CEO of UFC In addition to owning a stake in Red Rock Resorts Inc. which own 21 casinos across three (3) states, Lorenzo and his brother acquired the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in 2001 for $2M. As the CEO of UFC, Lorenzo worked with governors across the states to authorize competitive martial arts, that resulted in the success and growth of UFC over 15 years. In 2016, the brother's sold their shares for $4B and Lorenzo has since launched his own private investment firm (Fertitta Capital) that has returned an IRR of 31.8% since 1993! He's shown his ability over the years in identifying potential markets and capitalizing on the opportunity, so his investment in this merger speaks volumes. I am super bullish given the amount of potential in the online fitness industry. I think we will continue seeing growth in the home fitness department even post covid as people work from home. You have seasoned veterans who have proven over the years how they can grow subscribership to increase recurring revenues. Coupled with MYX who produces some solid hardware, I can see consumers deciding to opt for them instead of the 2-3 month lead time with Peloton. FRX only recently closed their financing deal in Q4 2020 so they are showing strong confidence in the industry by deploying that capital so soon. Lastly, I understand a lot of people's concerns given Beachbody's sale practices, but that's the reason why the merger is priced at only $2.9B. If you believe in management's ability to revamp their current online model and couple the synergies with MYX there's definite upside to this investment. We all know this industry is only going to continue growing and if Peloton can be valued at $43B.... The stock is still priced relatively close to NAV so the downside is minimal when compared to the potential upside. 1700+ shares and looking to acquire more prior to merger. Holding until at least $20+
I am 36 years old, make $66,900, live in Portland OR and work as a Data Coordinator.
Section Zero: Background Hello all, happy hoildays! I stumbled upon this subreddit not long ago and have enjoyed the commentary and experiences everyone's shared. Wanted to add another perspective from a mid-30s first-gen American. I've had some missteps regarding careers and finances, but I feel like I'm in a slightly better place now. I tried YNAB in the past but I wasn't consistent enough with it. These days I use Mint to monitor my finances and have a "Finance Friday" each month to review all my accounts and spending. I currently live with my partner TJ and his dog RR. We do not combine finances, but he has been unemployed since March. I have helped him with some bills and basic necessities here and there until he finds his next job or career. My current financial goals are to just maintain a status quo and not get any debt until pandemic times are over. Then I will focus on a house remodeling fund and savings for taking care of my parents. Growing up, what kind of conversations did you have about money? Did your parent/guardian(s) educate you about finances? My parents taught us about money from a frugal perspective. They are immigrants who worked in food service/factories. There was always this “save save save” mentality. Even when they started their own small business, we saved like there was no tomorrow. In high school, my calculus teacher bought us all “The Millionaire Next Door” book and had us read it as an assignment - that was my first structured introduction to finances. Did you worry about money growing up? No, there was always food on the table and a roof over our heads. I knew that our extended family would support us if needed. Was there an expectation for you to attend higher education? Did you participate in any form of higher education? If yes, how did you pay for it? Yes. My dad didn’t finish the high school-equivalent in their country, while my mom did finish high school, but no college. My older and younger siblings took a different path in life after high school. I am the first and only in my family to graduate from college. My parents covered all tuition for my two bachelor degrees with the agreement that I support them fully during their retirement and send them gifts/extra money whenever I can. I feel very lucky and privileged that they were able to provide that education for me. At what age did you become financially responsible for yourself and do you have a financial safety net? 24 when I went on a work holiday abroad. My family was always available to help when needed, but the experience abroad helped me stand on my own feet. As an adult, I also inherited that “save” mentality and put a lot of my earnings towards savings. I didn’t date until my 30s, lived frugally, didn’t go out to eat/hangout with people, shopped thrift stores, and had very few hobbies. I am starting to “live a little” now though. Do you or have you ever received passive or inherited income? Aside from the tuition, my parents have helped with a down payment for my first house and living costs during periods of unemployment. Section One: Assets and Debt Retirement Balance If the place I was working at offered a 401k, I would always contribute up to the company match. I started my IRA in my mid-20s and would try to contribute the yearly max. I've stopped that the past 2-3 years though. My Other Brokerage is some play money, but I got tired of staring it and switched to index funds. I haven't contributed anything to it in a few years.
401k: $34,127 (5% company match on contributions)
Brokerage: $22,421 ESPP
Roth IRA: $40,615 VTIVX
Rollover IRA: $15,760 VTTHX
Other Brokerage: $7,235 VTI
Coinbase: $1,286 ETH (mostly just playing around with it)
Equity if you're a homeowner Purchased my first home for $382,000 with 20% down, right before lockdown earlier this year. Perfect timing, right?? I plan to live here until my retirement. My parents contributed $15k while I used most of my savings for the rest.
Current Equity: $80,371
Savings account balance: $3,073 Checking account balance: $7,800 Credit card debt: I charge everything on my credit card for the points, then pay it off each month using my checking account balance. Student loan debt: Traditionally no student loan debt as mentioned in Section Zero. Section Two: Income Income Progression (listed as gross income with cost of living area): High School
$11/hourMCOL - Helped with small family business.
College and first “career” job
$12-19/hour MCOL - I did events/banquet serving after classes and had an internship doing software administration.
$22/hour MCOL - Junior web developer. I realized after a year that programming was not my calling.
Mental health break
$12/hour LCOL - Work holiday abroad. I got a steady banquet server job for that whole time. It was enough to live minimally in a hostel, do weekend trips, WOOF and figure my life out.
College (again) and second “career” job
$12-15/hour LCOL - Decided to go back to school for a different bachelor's degree. While pursuing that degree, I worked at hotels and events as a banquet server again. I also did “search engine evaluation” whenever there were tasks available.
$36,000/year salary LCOL - Software administrator at a casino after graduation.
$39,000/year salary LCOL - Systemsanalyst at same casino. I left after 2 years, feeling disillusioned with the casino industry. I moved back home with my parents until I could get back on my feet again.
Third “career” jobs
$20/hour HCOL - Entry level advertising role. I was applying to all types of office jobs and that was my only bite.
$45/hour MCOL - Cold-called from a global company who needed someone with my software administrator experience from the casino job. It was an 8 month contract. Although I was starting to love my advertising job, the increase in pay was no question.
$65,000/year salary MCOL - After the contract ended and a few months of unemployment, I landed my current job at the same company. It is an “early career” role according to their job levels.
$66,900/year salary MCOL - Cost of living and merit increases after 2 years on the job. Pre-COVID we got a $5000 bonus each year. They have now stopped bonuses as well as all COL and merit increases.
Main Job Monthly Take Home: Monthly Net (paid bi-weekly): $2,758 Deductions:
Side Gig Monthly Take Home: No side gigs at the moment, but I am thinking of signing up on Upwork.com and doing Excel/data entry projects to help pay the mortgage. Other Income: TJ’s friend will be staying with us for a month in January, who will pay rent of $800 including utilities. Depending on how that goes, we may take on a roommate in the spare bedroom long-term. Section Three: Expenses Mortgage - when I bought the house, the plan was that I would charge TJ a portion of the mortgage costs as “rent”, but since his unemployment I am now covering it all myself. Regular Monthly Payment: $1677.57

Interest: $849.74
Taxes & Home Insurance: $326.52

Amazon/Netflix/Hulu: We piggyback off family and friends’ accounts.
Nintendo Switch Online: 19.99/year
Costco: $60/year
Gym membership: Pre-COVID I did Orangetheory for a year. I started to pick up free exercise equipment from Craigslist this year, so we have a small garage gym now and utilize YouTube exercise videos instead. Pet expenses: $10/month. TJ has stockpiled some Costco canned dog food before unemployment, but once that runs out I will likely cover the costs. We also started to make homemade dog food to help supplement. Car insurance: $460 every 6 months. Car is paid off. Regular therapy: I will start in the new year. Not sure what the costs are yet, but I will use my HSA to pay. Vitamins/Medications: $20/month Groceries & household items: $75/month Miscellaneous (eating out, house purchases, gifts, etc): $100/month Section Four: Money Diary Monday 6:30am Neighbor starts up their truck. We joke that it's our natural alarm clock. They idle for about 15 minutes before heading off. I go back to bed. 9am My real alarm goes off. I put the electric kettle on for some morning tea. While it's boiling, I do my morning routine: drink glass of water, take synthroid, use bathroom, brush teeth, quick shower. I then make tea - Jasmine Pearl English Breakfast with dark forest mix. I started ordering loose leaf tea in large amounts back in March instead of small bags or single serving packets. Seems more economical since I drink it daily. I let the dog out into the backyard so he can do his morning routine. 9:30am I go through my daily tasks for work. They entail checking processes and reports to make sure they ran successfully overnight. I then answer some emails and catch-up on Slack channels. 12pm Lunch is leftover roast chicken and quinoa from Saturday. I heat it up in the instant pot. Love that thing! Almost every meal of ours involves the instant pot. We hardly use the stovetop. We then walk the dog to the business park across from our neighborhood. There's a very short trail that runs along a drainage creek by the business park. It's quite muddy, but has a nice woodsy feeling. Over the summer, we saw sumac trees there as well. Free sumac spice! 1:30pm Department meeting on Zoom. Our director announces his resignation on the call. Everyone is shocked! Layoffs were announced for next year but this was not a part of it. I think it's a good move for him and he doesn't have to have this worry of layoffs over his head. 3pm I meet with an engineer from another team and talk about a data source they are in charge of. He helps me out in understanding it and we identify most of the fields that I need for a project I’m starting. 5:30pm I check in with my partner. He's been watching LinkedIn tutorials on internal recruiting, job coaching and general computeoffice skills. It's a career change that he wants to make - something where he can talk to and help people. He doesn't have a bachelor's, only an associates, and hopes these tutorials will get him a leg up in the job search. I sent him some entry level HR admin roles the other day and remind him to apply. I then heat up leftovers: homemade chana masala and rice. I add some butter and coconut milk to thin it out, so there's enough for both of us. 10:30pm I take some magnesium, vitamin D and Airborne. I say goodnight to the dog who sleeps in the office. Then I say goodnight to TJ. He sleeps in the spare bedroom on weeknights due to his snoring keeping me up. I'm a light sleeper while he is a pretty deep sleeper. Daily total: $0 Tuesday 9am I check Reddit Secret Santa. My match seems like a really good person. Not sure what to get, but most likely will purchase something off their wishlist. I wish I was more creative with my gift giving. 11am Meeting with business stakeholder. She submitted a few changes to an existing data process about a month ago. I make the change while on the call and have her test. Success! Marking it off the todo list. I love when we can finish things directly on a call. 12:30pm I come out of my office to make lunch. I notice my partner is not home. I check my messages and see that he's stepped out to pick up a few things. I ask for celery, carrots, and kombucha. $17. I make a quick charcuterie board for lunch: Costco salami, cheese, homemade hummus and Triscuits. It's a simple, fast meal that’s always in our rotation. 2pm My partner is back and we take the dog out for a walk and quick round of disc golf at a nearby park. We mask up and play only a few holes. Disc golf is a pretty frugal activity, you only need 2-3 discs to get started. TJ remarks that my throws are getting better, but then again they weren't great to start with. We talk about Christmas/Birthday gifts on the way back home since he was born on New Years Day. He mentioned snowshoeing but asked to not spend that much. I'll do some research! 5pm I think about personal career projects. Should I put up a portfolio of projects somewhere? I decide to try and pull some Yelp data. There’s not a lot of data points that I was interested in. Regardless, I tinker with it for an hour. TJ asks if I'm hungry. I said not so much, but felt thirsty. Maybe some ginger soup tonight? 7:30pm Dinner is served - ginger carrot soup made in the instant pot. We eat some rice crackers with it. Lately I feel like we've been eating more vegetarian dinners. It definitely helps stretch our food budget. We end the evening by finishing Fargo season 3 on Hulu. Daily total: $17 Wednesday 1:30am I'm woken up by the dog. He's been sneezing a lot and wheezes at random intervals. TJ doesn't have the money for a vet visit but I've offered to pay as long as he calls to make the appointment. I give the dog some coconut oil, rub his belly until he seems better and go back to bed. 7am Garbage day. We usually put it out the night before but I forgot. I get up to go, but TJ handles it. I think, at least. I'm too sleepy to pay attention and go back to bed. 9am I wake up and rinse some dishes that have piled up and put them into the dishwasher. We both grew up in households that had a home dishwasher, but forbade from using it. It was drilled into us that hand washing saves more water, unless you had a restaurant/industrial dishwasher. I think with modern home dishwashers, that's changed, so I wanted to try it out with our dishwasher and monitor the water bill. Don't have any dishwashing pods or powder, so I put some OxiClean in it. 12:30pm I overhear TJ on a call with a recruiting agency. It seems to be going well, lots of laughing. I heat up some taco lasagna that I freezer meal-prepped last month. 2pm Collaborate on a project at work with an engineer. My manager put me on this project since I was asking for an assignment on a more technical team. I'm learning tidbits here and there, but I don't feel like it's structured enough. 5pm I do an Orangetheory-At-Home workout and try to break a sweat. It's not the same as going to their studio. 6pm Charcuterie for dinner. Our fridge is full of store-bought and homemade pickles that go super well on a charcuterie board. Daily total: $0 Thursday 7am I wake up tired. The house has been feeling more cold, which woke me up a few times. We keep the temp at 72F during the day, at night around 68F since we thought the bedrooms keep the heat in pretty well. My mistake! 9am I do my usual morning routine and login to work. My team mostly spends the morning sending each other emojis. 11:30am Lunch today is mini quiche, frozen chicken and veggie entree, and hot dogs. Not the most cohesive meal, but it fills the belly. 12:30pm TJ heads out to his mailbox that's 30 minutes away. He is still waiting on his tax return and a 401k withdrawal. His taxes had to be filed by mail for some reason, then the IRS office shut down due to COVID. So he wanted to see if it arrived yet at the mailbox. He also takes the dog to the vet's urgent care on his way. They didn't have any regular openings available until the end of the year, and the dog seemed to be getting worse. I give TJ $40 to mail a gift package to a friend in France and also reiterate that I'll cover the vet bill when he gets it. 4:30pm I pay some bills, my favorite activity (not)! Sewer bill: $59.44 (billed every 2 months). Geico bill: $459.60 billed every 6 months. Then I follow up with my mortgage officer over email. I had sent her some documents for a refinance quote last week, but haven't heard back. Rates keep dropping, so I'm told, but what does that really mean? I do some research on realestate. 5pm TJ messages me and says he'll be back for dinner. I ask him to pick up some Popeyes via drive thru since we both don't feel like cooking today. Popeyes is currently our fancy “going out to eat” food. $24.17 for a 4pc dinner meal and a 2pc dinner meal. Daily total: $583.21 Friday 8:30am Busy morning at work. My phone is buzzing with emails and Slack messages. I try to answer them while I make tea. 10am Zoom Department happy hour. We reminisce about our director and then play those Jackbox party games. Some of them are hard! 11am TJ asks if he can make me anything for lunch. He suggests savory oatmeal, quick and easy. I tell him that I really appreciate him making meals/doing chores/etc without me prompting. We've been having conversations about "house project management" and mental load because I did most of the chores or I had to continually remind/tell him to do it. I'm really happy to see us progress on this front. I decide to work through my lunch break so I can end the day early. I don't often do that, but I'm ready to get the weekend started. 2pm I check on TJ in the spare bedroom and ask if the dog has been fed yet, since he was nipping at my feet. I notice something off about TJ and ask how he is doing. TJ is depressed about his personal life, career, finances. He doesn't know what to do, spends half the day meditating and reflecting on past trauma. I've been prodding him to get a therapist but he is confused about his insurance. He makes an appointment with a primary care doctor first. I feed the dog some homemade dog-friendly beef stew. 4pm My mom swings by the house (but doesn't enter). She currently works at a school who distributes free USDA food boxes since March. There's often many boxes leftover that would go to waste, so she will grab a box for us. Onions, potatoes, beets, turnips, eggs, cheese, butter, frozen veggies and frozen chicken. She also brought her vintage pasta maker. I asked last week if she ever used it these days and her reply was “no, feel free to have it”. I love pasta and noodles and figure it would be great to make it ourselves as a frugal hobby. 8pm We catch up on Mandalorian and watch silly Youtube videos before heading off to bed. Daily total: $0 Saturday 9am I open up my web browser and look at Craigslist and NextDoor for free stuff. I've been scouring for free landscape rocks, pegboards, and wood for house projects. I had this grand ambition to redesign our backyard. It faces our neighbor and currently the fence is pretty low. They can see into our kitchen and bedroom and we can see them. But y'know, COVID and going from dual income house to single income means it all has to be put on hold. So I've been looking for free items in the meantime. Over the past months, I've gotten planter pots, plant cuttings, a raised bed, stepping stones, all from free listings. I don't see anything worthwhile so I go and make some tea. 11am I look at Amazon and make some purchases for Reddit Secret Santa. A foodie kit, DVD of their favorite movie, and some cute pens for their writing hobby. $54. I hope they like it! 12pm TJ heats up leftover stir-fry for lunch for us. I put on some Binging with Babish and we watch how to make pasta. We have a plan - TJ makes the pasta, I make the sauce. Perfect date night activity at home. We watch some more videos on pasta and noodles to educate ourselves. 4pm I start prepping veggies. Big batch of onions, canned tomatoes, ground beef and butter in the instant pot. Meanwhile, TJ works on the pasta by following Babish's instructions. 7pm We gorge on fresh made pasta and bolognese sauce. It's so good! We end up watching Fargo. 11pm Usually I'll be in bed by now, but it's a Saturday and not tired yet (probably because of all that pasta). We play some Kirby's Dream Course on the Switch. Daily total: $54 Sunday 10am Quick walk around the neighborhood with the dog. He's on a new routine now with the medicine he's taking. It seems to be helping his breathing issues. 11am The pasta maker and flour is still out since we didn't clean up yesterday. There's some old pie crust in the fridge so I roll it out with the pasta machine for mini quiches. (Sally's Baking Addiction blog is my go-to place for her all-butter crust and quiche recipes btw). TJ helps by mixing up the eggs. 3pm I play some Genshin Impact (GI) on my phone while TJ plays Starcraft in the office. I don't usually play gacha games, but the Zelda BotW-style of GI appealed to me. A gacha game is a game with randomized characteitem boxes that you use real-money to purchase a “pull” or to spin the wheel. I know the gacha parts of the game can be a real money sink if you get addicted to them, it’s almost like gambling. My main team is Fischl, Bennett, Barbara and Noelle. I level up to AR 22 and look up free-to-play tutorials for the game. 6pm There's some leftover pasta from yesterday, enough for both of us. I throw in some roasted beets to round out the meal. We watch more Fargo while eating. Almost done with Season 3! 10pm I find a tour operator who offers a small, socially-distant snowshoeing tour up on the mountain. I reserve for two people - this will be TJ's Christmas/birthday gift. $75. Off to bed for another workday. Daily total: $75 Weekly Total: $689.79
Food + Drink: $41.17
Fun / Entertainment: $75
Home + Health: $59.44
Clothes + Beauty: $0
Transport: $459.60
Other: $54.00
Section Five: Reflections Aside from the car insurance bill, this was a typical week for me, COVID or not. We make the majority of our meals at home and usually splurge on drive-thru/delivery once every other week. I may have overspent on the Secret Santa gift, but I don't often give gifts out to friends. It's not something our family does either. For TJ’s Christmas/birthday gift, we usually talk upfront about costs. I’ve gifted him fancy restaurant experiences the past 2 years, since we can share that experience, but obviously can’t do that now. Snowshoeing is a nice change of pace. The conversations with TJ this week have given me thought on how to approach him differently about finances and working together in a relationship. I’m still unsure about the future financially, particularly as my parents near retirement age and that TJ has pulled out his 401k to pay his debts. I don't know if I can support both my parents and TJ together, so I am finding ways to upskill and/or side hustles without becoming a workaholic or bogged down by stress. Writing this money diary was also the first time where I really paid attention to my past income and current income. I might be contributing too much into ESPP that could go towards the 401k or mortgage instead? I also seem to have been underpaid for what I did in past jobs, even in a LCOL area.
Challenge: 1/1/20 - 12/31/20 This has been a crazy year for everyone. I fell behind on my reviews, I've attempted to catch up in the last two months, but here we are. I've now delayed my 2021 challenge so I just need to dump the rest and do better this year. Sorry for the half ass work. So here is my last 32 films on the year that I have the least to say about. It's a brilliantly intelligent film, wrapped in a California high school comedy. I recommend for all. -Score - 4.5/5 Onward (2020)- Watched 8/8/2020 - RotTom critics - 88% RotTom users - 95% This film is not up to snuff with he rest of Pixar's original films. I'm disgusted by the critics that haven't realized this. Like Sandler, Ferrell is capable of great acting, but takes the easy way out. Do not watch or support this garbage. It is competing with Sandler's Hubie Halloween for the worst film of 2020. -Score - 0.5/5 The Holiday (2008)- Watched 12/18/20 RotTom critics - 50% RotTom users - 80% This film is a holiday themed Rom-Com. More Rom than Com. It's cute, not great. You can do way worse when it comes to holiday movie, so if you want an inoffensive movie, this is it. -Score - 2.5/5 Noelle (2019)- Watched 12/19/2020 - RotTom critics - 53% RotTom users - 58% This film is not great. This and Lady and the Tramp live action was Disney + first original movies. Instead of starting off with a bang, it's clear Disney had a terrible film that they didn't to distribute to theaters. I love Kendrick and Hader but they could not save this film. Skip this one forever.-Score - 1/5 Christmas with the Kranks (2004)- Watched 12/18/20 RotTom critics - 5% RotTom users - 38% This film should be considered the worst Christmas movie ever made. It is so boring, and dumb, and so low-stake. I knew it was going to be bad before I started, but I was shocked on how bad it was. Please never watch this one. And let me know if there is a worst Christmas movie, I'll watch it next year haha.-Score - 0.5/5 A few of these films cracked my top 10, but not my top 5. A bunch of these are in my bottom 10, and one broke the bottom 5. I have one film left to review in 2020! Then I can start my 2021 challenge. HeyImAJoe's 2020 Top and Bottom

19M, Let’s chat so I can stop watching Casino Royale on repeat
Idk why but I’ve been watching Casino Royale about twice a day. It’s a good movie to have in the background I guess especially in the beginning with the intro song. Love me some Chris Cornell vocals in a Bond film lol. Here are some of my interests that we could talk about and go from there: •Movies (Horror, Thriller, Mafia/Mob, Action, Comedy, Sci-Fi, almost anything but romcoms and dramas lol) •Music (Rock, Rock ‘n Roll, Alt, Punk, whatever genre of music Frank Sinatra would classify as I forget the name atm whoops) •TV (I binge a lot of shows, I say that but then it turns out it’s minuscule when seeing a whole list of shows on Netflix and Hulu) •College (since I’m a second semester sophomore lol. I’m a journalism major hoping to minor in film once I become a junior) •I am a genuine human being and I only say that bc there are some assholes that aren’t open minded and respect others the way they deserve to be respected. I am open minded, no judgement on my end, and will respect all your boundaries no matter who you are •Whatever you wanna chat about whether it’s these interests we may have or something wayyyyy off then that’s fine lol. I know I’d be better at talking and conversing with these common interests but honestly it’s okay as long as we are not bored lol A little bonus round about some more interests: • I have a 5 year old German shepherd who is my #1 girl, I’ll fight you on that statement idfc lol • I live in the northeast so if you’re in the northeast as well then hoorayyyyy same time zone gang! • I play drums and soon want to learn drumset, that’s the next music goal of mine • The snow storm that just hit wasn’t too bad, for me at least since I barely leave home bc of online classes but it was 8 inches, plus it was my first time using a snow blower and I’m not half bad if I say so myself 😂 • I will hold a convo and put effort into it as long as you do too, I won’t ghost and if I don’t respond I’ll give a reason before hand or afterwards so just know I’m not a “ghoster” lol • Lastly I have insta, snap and kik but logged out of all them to detach myself and give it some space for a while. If you feel like taking on one of those platforms instead of here bc it’s easier then that’s alright with me lol I hope to talk to all of you soon and get me out of this Casino Royale binge...please get me out of this repeating cycle lol
My wife and I started writing down every movie we watched at the start of 2020, and tracked dates watched, genres, and "venue" (streaming service, theater, TV, etc. -- the height of the "theater" bar on the graph tells the whole story of 2020 for me). Also every time either of us said "we should watch " we added it to a list to watch later. And though we have our favorite movies that we watch over and over again, we agreed not to watch any movie twice all year. Executive summary:
Number movies watched: 142 (roughly one movie every 2.5 days, which I acknowledge is bush league compared to some of you)
Most popular genre: Comedy (unsurprising in 2020) (Also note that genres are entirely subjective; I didn't want to introduce "dramedy" or "action/comedy" or whatever, so I just chose the one that seemed most appropriate to me)
Most popular venue: AppleTV (by far)
Most common movie-watching day: Saturday

Hi everybody. I'm planning on watching a movie tonight to celebrate finishing finals and I would like something I haven't seen before. If you want something to pull from, my favorite genre is crime, or specifically mob movies. My favorite movie ever is Goodfellas, and Godfather 1/2 and the other Scorsese classics like Casino, Irishman, & Departed are among my all time favorites list. I also love drama and thrillers, especially Fincher's filmography. I've seen most of the popular movies of the past five years or so, stuff like Nightcrawler, Whiplash, La La Land, Parasite & 2049 are some of my favorites of recent memory and I'd like something new to check out! I'd love to find some new stuff to watch so I really appreciate any and all suggestions!! I have access to Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, and Amazon so I'm not too limited.
I have seen many posts across the Cardano community about how ETH’s DeFi rush will give ETH the first movers advantage in a winner take all DeFi ecosystem. First, I know how anxious many of you feel. We see another project with a fervor of activity while IOG is still working behind semi-closed doors on Goguen. We all want Cardano to live up to its potential and its scary when it looks like another platform is racing ahead. However, let us take some time to think of this from first principles and ask, “Why is DeFi a winner take all situation?” If you look at the tech ecosystem, platforms that are labeled “Winner take all” platforms are closed systems. Not every business that calls itself a platform, online or not, is not in a winner take all market. That said, winner take all really is a misnomer, even the strongest closed network tech companies with the strongest of feedback loops have competition.
Facebook has TikTok and Snapchat
Amazon has Wayfair while Target and Walmart online are catching up extremely fast
Netflix has Hulu/Disney Plus, HBO Max, Apple TV+, Prime Video and CrunchyRoll
Spotify has Apple Music, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Youtube Music, Amazon Music, Google Music
In the finance space things generally are not winner take all because the system is interoperable (imagine what would happen to Bank of America tomorrow if it announced that it is no longer accepting deposits from other banks?). As an example, I can ACH money from Citibank to UBS, buy stock there, then transfer it with ACATS to Interactive Brokers. Looking at the financial markets, there are so many different institutions, many of them extremely large.
Banks: Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citibank, and Bank of New York Mellon are all massive institutions; and those are just the large bulge brackets, there are a ton more regional banks and smaller institutions),
Brokerage houses: Charles Schwab, Interactive Brokers, Robinhood, Fidelity, TD Ameritrade
Asset Managers: BlackRock, State Street, Vanguard, PIMCO, Wellington Asset Management and JP Morgan Asset Management, all have more than $1 Trillion dollars in AUM
Insurance Companies: MetLife, State Farm, Berkshire Hathaway, Progressive, Allstate, Liberty Mutual, Travelers, Chubb, USAA all write $10s of billions of dollars of premium a year
Hedge Funds: Bridgewater, Citadel, AQR, Renaissance Technologies, DE Shaw, Elliot Management, Bracebridge, Panagora Asset Management all have $10s or $100+ of billions under management, and again those are just the big guys)
Seriously, just go look up how large these companies are. Those are the guys we are going for, not some fly-by-night DeFi script kiddy who lost $200mm dollars because they forgot to call the correct method in their smart contract. Oh, and that list I included, those are only the large firms. I did not even touch upon the myriad of boutique and regional firms. I also haven't even gotten to any international firms yet, or mentioned other entities like the DTCC, prop-trading firms, family offices, private banks or sovereign wealth funds like GIC/Temasek and CIC with over a trillion dollars under management. Also keep in mind that while DeFi might feel full of vitality and growth, what are people in the market really doing? What real world activity are people borrowing do to on crypto platforms? People are not borrowing on DeFi to start businesses, build homes or pay for school. They are borrowing to fund margin loans so they can leverage and maximize their yield. It is just a moderately sized casino*** with a cardboard sign duct-taped over that reads "Bank." The current total value locked in De-Fi is $9bn at most which is tiny. I have been at large asset management firms with single accounts with more money than that. Even if De-FI on ETH miraculously grows by 700x without any blowups, it will still be smaller than the AUM of the largest asset management firm by over $100bn. Lastly, I think people underestimate the issues ETH has ahead of it. Read this medium post and this academic paper about priority gas auctions, DeX front running and transaction ordering dependence vulnerabilities [0, 1] and how this not only impacts users but affects the security properties of the consensus layer. Additionally, ETH 2.0 does little to fix the fee issue, for that they are working on EIP-1559 which is still contentious and will be hard to ship without on chain governance, which also isn't included in ETH 2.0 either. Even further still, ETH will need to do a difficult hard fork to implement these changes, while Cardano has HFC events which are operationally less complex and easier to execute. There are still so many kinks to work out. ETH isn’t the iPhone moment, ETH is pretty much the 10lb Motorola voice only cellphone (more like a blunt weapon) that costs the same as a pedigreed show dog. TLDR; The market is still in its absolute infancy. The space we all can disrupt is massive. Fighting over the current market is like fighting over a parking space when you have the entire continental United States to explore. While the project can’t stagnate or rest on its laurels (which I don’t think is happening), it can take its time to be methodical to ensure that when the world financial markets are onboarded onto the blockchain that Cardano has the research, codebase, infrastructure and community to step up to the challenge and excel. *** Las Vegas Sands and MGM Resorts each made more money in the last 12 months--even with COVID--than the TVL of DeFi assets on ETH. Yet, the icing on the cake is that the Macau gambling market is 4x the size of Vegas so even the gambling industry is much bigger than DeFi right now. I know this is an older info post but I just got Hulu back after a few years so I’m catching up lmao. The episode of HEA with Colt and Larissa going to Vegas was so weird. He is such a snake and as much as I don’t like Larissa this was the turning point where I started feeling really bad for her. I also actually thought she looked really nice in this episode and her black dress was striking on her in the casino. Also how weird and awkward for Coltee to tell her he wants sex in the car with his mom... the more I see the more I wonder if there isn’t something a little weirder going on there lol
26 [M4F] - It’s cold outside, let’s stay in bed this weekend!
I would love to spend some time cuddling, watching movies or talking about our goals and desires! This year has been one of a kind so let’s put it on pause for a few hours and enjoy the moment! I love music; from post hardcore to chopped and screwed rap. I like to find new movies on Netflix or Hulu and I like to watch all the world’s problems on Vice News. I love to drive and cruise to places I’ve never been. I also love to cook and if you’re a good baker you get extra points! If COVID wasn’t ruining everything known to humankind, what would you do with your talent and time that you can’t do now? I would love to be touring the world playing drums with a band or two. I have a friend from Houston that has flown twice recently to Vegas for the weekend to hit the dispensaries and casinos with his wife. Would anyone be interested in going on a trip like that? I can host in San Antonio or travel anywhere in Texas this weekend. Let me know what your favorite album of the year is (any genre) so I know you’re real! Comment on here or message me. I would love to hear from you!
WIN REAL MONEY ON FREE SPIN BONUSES AT MOBILE CASINOS
Not all mobile casinos are created equal. an equivalent are often said of latest player promotions. One thing avid player have probably noticed is that a number of the foremost popular operators give out free spin bonuses to all or any their new players, without even requiring a deposit first. I’ve heard an equivalent , simple question countless times – Why? Why would mobile casinos allow players to win real money without risking one dollar if their own? Isn’t that counterproductive to their bottom line? Perhaps, yes. A player who gets lucky enough could definitely collect thereon bonus without losing any money to the casino. But once you believe it, free spin bonuses aren’t just how to urge new players in, they're essential to putting together a dependable and trusting relationship with clientele. Imagine you’re going car shopping. you discover one car you actually like. It’s the proper color, the proper size, and therefore the right price. you switch to the smiling salesman and say, “Hey, i prefer this one. am i able to take it for a test drive?” His smile quickly fades as he clears his throat and responds, “No, sorry, we don’t do test drives.” Would you purchase a car from him? I certainly hope not. Car salesmen can’t be trusted to start with. Refusing a test drive would shatter any faith you would possibly have had in him. How a few night out at the films . does one attend the cinema and hope they need a movie you’re curious about seeing? Or does one just happen to ascertain previews for movies on TV and think, “Hey, that appears good. i would like to ascertain that.” Then you attend the films because you recognize it’s playing. And how about all those free trial offers we see advertised? Free trials are quite common in today’s commercial realm. We get free trial offers for all kinds of things, like Amazon Prime, Netflix and Hulu – even Viagra! Read More pokies online Test drives, movie previews and free trial offers are not any different from free spin bonuses. they provide players a touch preview of what mobile casinos need to offer. Of course, you can’t win money during test drives and free trials, but hey – that’s what gambling is all about. If operators expect their players to require a risk on them, why shouldn’t the operator take a touch risk of their own to attract customers? And as for subsequent obvious question – Can a player actually withdrawal their winnings from free spin bonuses? – that each one depends on the fine print. tons of mobile casinos say, ‘No’. It’s only a test run, and players can’t keep the winnings. But that’s not true of each operator. A few sites do allow their players to win real money from free spins and withdrawal it. LeoVegas and Royal Vegas are two such operators, and I’m sure there are a couple of more out there also . It’s beat the small print , though. goodbye as you read over the terms of any free spin bonuses you discover , you’ll know which of them are worth taking advantage of, and which of them are nothing but gimmicks.
WHAT I AM GOING TO WATCH ON HBO MAX THAT I'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE
ALL OF THESE MOVIES AND SHOWS I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY I don't really like fantasy i have only seen the first two harry potter movies and that's it but i know some characters from lord of the rings like frodo, samwise, gollum, gandalf and saruon but that's about it but can't wait to watch em hopefully i like them. RICK AND MORTY i have seen the first four episodes of rick and morty and i gotta say it's one of my favorite animated shows at the moment it's funny, smart, dark at times and is a great sitcom while also having a great story. i love every single character and i can't wait to see more. By the way for younger fans that can't watch the uncensored version i hope they have a censored version and a uncensored version like it's censored on hulu which is where i watch it right now. all 3 seasons are going to be there on launch and season 4 will be on there sometime this year Adventure Time I've seen the first episode and that's about it. i know the characters like finn, jake and princess bubblegum but i can't wait to watch more because from what i've seen it looked good. all 8 seasons are one ther Suicide Squad I have seen the first 10 minutes of suicide squad i don't really watch dc i am way more of a marvel fan because the marvel cinematic universe is my favorite franchise of all time but Suicide Squad i have heard is ok i didn't like the scene i saw from the joker a lil too crazy but still it seemed good. Batman V Superman i saw the fight and then i dipped, we watched it at my house by the way. Hopefully for this and Suicide Squad there is a ultimate extended r rated edition on there that got released but i heard it's not that different in terms of rating there is just a lil bit more violence and that's about it. Batman V Superman is about 2 hrs and 32 minutes even 3 hours if you watch the extended cut but i am still going to watch it The Dark Knight Rises I have seen batman begins and the dark knight but not this one i have only seen the first 10 minutes. I have seen the battles though and the action looks amazing. i can't wait to finish this trilogy off and i hope it ends with a bang. Wonder Woman, Man of Steel and Aquaman Wonder Woman was the most critically acclaimed movie in the dceu, Aquaman was the highest grossing dc movie of all time and man of steel was the highest grossing superman movie which is not saying much but still. Aquaman looks crazy and a fun time. I saw the first 15 and the last 15 minutes of wonder woman but i didn't look all that. Man of steel looks dark but at the same time cool and action packed. The fresh prince of bel air i have seen the first two episodes and there are really funny i love will smith, i love the theme song and i love black sitcoms so i should love it. all 6 seasons are on hbo max Doctor Who Doctor who is very popular in the uk and us and it is about a doctor making to a time machine to fight aliens . It looks cool and i hope it is action packed as well as a good time. all 11 seasons of doctor who will be on there Justice League Synder Cut The synder cut is not coming out until 2021 but still i am pretty excited for it. it may have green lantern, darkseid and many more. hopefully there wiil be better visual effects and better action. i just hope it's not 4 hours. i hope it's closer to a miniseries or even 3 hours at the most. I just hope it's better than the original cut. 1990s Batman movies the first two have michael keaton and then the other ones have val kilmer and george clooney. hopefully i can watch the 1966 batman movie but anyways. i can't wait to see how bad batman forever and batman and robin. they have jack Nicholson,Arnold Schwarzenegger, Danny Devito, Jim Carrey and Michelle Schrieffer as the villains not to mention Tommy Lee Jones. Casino Royale I have never seen any of the bond movies but i have seen the scene where he whips his private part which is very hard to watch and i've seen the opening action scene which is one of the best action scenes i have ever seen. it looks really good so i can't wait to watch it Jaws i know jaws is a classic but still i've never seen it and i really want to see it cause it look liek vit would be a fun watch so yeah X MEN Movies the x men movies are going to be on there until 2022 then they will move to disney plus probably but i've only seen the first two and i'm gonna say not a huge fan of it i love mcu way more but i can't wait to watch days of future past and first class since they say those are more modern and like the mcu Hope u guys liked the post and i will see you guys in 2 days for a review on hbo max
RVA Movie Club: Quarantine Streaming Recommendations
Since we won't be having meet-ups for the foreseeable future, I thought I would pass along some streaming recommendations to help with the whole social isolation thing that we're all dealing with. For each streaming service, I have included one movie and one TV show recommendation. I've tried to pick stuff that you may not have already seen and include a variety of genres and tones. If you want to chat about any of these, you have your own recommendations, or you just want someone to talk to, feel free to reach out to me here or email rvamovieclub(at)gmail.com. Even though we're all separated, we're all in this together and I hope this help some of you cope. Enjoy! - Ryan HBO GO TV: Bored to Death - This severely under-watched comedy stars Jason Schwartzman as a struggling writer who, after reading classic detective novels, decides to post a craigslist ad listing himself as an unlicensed private detective. It also stars Zach Galifianakis as his best friend, and a brilliant turn from Ted Danson as his boss, an affluent magazine editor who is constantly stoned and having an existential crisis. The name of the show is simultaneously how I feel right now cooped up in my apartment, and the cure to that very feeling. Movie: The Ladykillers - An overlooked entry in the Coen Brothers oeuvre, The Ladykillers stars Tom Hanks in one of his more absurd roles as a professor who organizes the heist of a riverboat casino out of the rented basement of a little old lady. As with any Coen Brothers movie, nothing goes according to plan. Netflix TV: Better Call Saul - You've surely seen Breaking Bad, but if you haven't seen Better Call Saul, you don't know the whole story. While the first season tries hard to differentiate itself, the show truly takes off in the second season when it leans into the prequelness of it all. You'll get many familiar faces like Mike Ehrmantraut and Gus Fring. And the transformation of Jimmy McGill into the skeezy lawyer we all know and love, Saul Goodman, is second only to that of Walter White. The show's final season is currently airing on AMC, so now is as good a time as any to catch up. Movie: Ex Machina - This movie bowled me over the first time I saw it, and has since jumped into my Top 10 of all time. It is written and directed by Alex Garland, who wrote 28 Days Later, Sunshine, Dredd, and created the excellent new FX/Hulu show DEVS. This guy is a sci-fi force to be reckoned with. Ex Machina is about a man who, through a lottery at his company, gets to visit the reclusive CEO and help him with a secret project involving the creation of an AI. Hulu TV: You're The Worst - This show rewrites the rules of romantic comedy by featuring two leads that have such abrasive personalities that they couldn't possibly function in a traditional romance. But what happens instead is one of the most realistic portrayals of what it is like to go through the ups and downs of an imperfect relationship. It's funny as hell, while also tackling heavy subjects like mental health. Come for the humor, stay for the heart. Movie: Super - You probably know writedirector James Gunn from his work on the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, but he got his start doing fun, low budget horror comedies. Super was his first take on the superhero genre and features a delusional Rain Wilson (Dwight from The Office) donning a costume to fight back at the criminals who stole his girlfriend from him. His alter-ego, The Crimson Bolt, has no superpowers, but instead whacks people with a wrench while shouting phrases like, "SHUT-UP CRIME!" It's supremely weird, funny, and sad, and it must be watched. Amazon TV: Fleabag - If you know me, you've probably heard me talk about this show before. It is one of the best shows in recent memory and cements creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Killing Eve, Crashing, No Time to Die) as someone to keep an eye on for the rest of her career. Fleabag is about a woman's struggle to reckon her sexuality and vanity with her morality and feminism. Like many of the things on this list, it will take you from laughing to crying in a matter of minutes. Movie: Triangle - The first time I watched this movie, it ended and I immediately called my roommate into the room and rewatched it with him. It's one of those mind-benders that you're better off going into knowing nothing, but I think I can safely say that it is a horror movie that involves people sailing a yacht into the Bermuda Triangle. Spooky stuff happens and I love it.

28 [M4F] Upstate NY/ Central NY/ EST/ Anywhere - Nerdy soldier seeing what's out there
Hello! First time here. Be gentle, or rough, I'm ok with either. About Me:
5'7" White
175lbs average/athletic build
Glasses and currently with a beard.
I currently have a full time job working nights at a casino. I also have been in the Army National Guard for the last 10 years and plan on staying in for my 20 years. I have my own home, currently do not have kids, and have never been married. I'm normally on the shy, easy going, and good-natured side. But I can become more energetic around those I am comfortable with. My night shift schedule and odd days off have left me with little opportunity to go out and find someone. Currently looking for a relationship, but open to whatever happens; I'm always up for something new. Friends are also always welcome! Activities: I enjoy playing video games. I play a multitude of games on the PC and Xbox. Feel free to ask what I play. Can give out my gamer tag once I feel comfortable doing so. With all of that comes a huge interest in most things Sci-fi (Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Halo, Warhammer 40k, etc) and Fantasy (GoT and LoTR). But I am equally into most things history and military history. Expect random bouts of information when/if the need arises. While I do have a very nerdy side, I also enjoy activities that involve being outdoors just as much. Such as fishing, hiking, and camping. I do like to stay pretty active, as I kinda have to be with the Army. I also used to be a diner cook for a few years, so I know a thing or two about cooking. Music: I listen to mostly rock, hard rock, and metal. (Sabaton, Ghost, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, etc). I'm pretty open to most other types, but just don't expect me to go to a country or pop concert. TV/Movies: I go between Hulu, netflix, and prime video to watch shows and movies. I am Anime friendly as well. What I'm looking for:
Age range of 21-34
Don't care too much about height. As long as you're not towering over me.
I tend to prefer those with an average, fit, or smaller build. If you're fit, I could use someone to motivate me/ kick my ass to be better.
Communication is important to me. I'm pretty old fashioned and like to send good morning and good night texts. Someone who's outgoing and talkative, and always willing to text. Plus sending each other memes of course. I quote Star Wars a lot more than I probably should.
Someone with similar interests in anything stated above. If you're not as nerdy or not at all, just be ok with the fact that I am and that's just apart of who I am. I don't judge!
Someone who's ambitious and driven, but also sweet, caring, and kind.
Someone mature and with no drama.
Sense of humor is also important. I do have a sarcastic and dark sense of humor thanks to both jobs. But I enjoy a good laugh every now and again. I also tell dad jokes a lot, you have been warned.
I also love it when a girl has tattoos and/or piercings. The more tattoos the better!
Obviously, you don't have to meet all the things I'm looking for. Think of these as more like guidelines than actual requirements. Feel free to send me a message if you're interested. Look forward to meeting you!
Internet restriction and other worries in Colorado
Hey everyone. First of all I'd like to say I was relieved when I first found this place. There truly is a subreddit for everything. Even just seeing everyone here being so supportive and helpful has already eased my mind a fair bit. I'm going to be going through sentencing on Monday in Colorado. "Internet Luring of a Minor" is the charge. It was a police sting, we talked I sent pics, there was no meet-up or pics of them. Looking at probation (10 years min. in CO + 10 years registry after) I have housing situated for at least a temporary solution, but dunno how long that will last. My lawyer and probation office manager I've been talking to haven't been able to tell me (or won't) what the internet restrictions could look like, that it'll be up to my actual assigned PO (who I'll be assigned next week), but to expect fully restricted access (no internet at all) for a time. > I will not provide a guess or estimate on how long you may be restricted from internet use. As I said it is different for every client based on the facts of that individual’s case. The best would be to prepare for it to be more lengthy of a period than not. Most everything that is done on the internet can be done the “old fashion” way. It may not be as convenient or desirable but it can still be done. If it cannot, then you need to discuss your options with your PO before you do anything. Can anyone with experience with this give me more information? How can I best make my case for monitored use? This sounds pathetic but the internet is a huge part of my life and this just seems so overwhelming. No more online games, no Netflix/Hulu/Spotify (they did specify that all streaming services fall under that), I read all my books on my phone or through audible, hell I barely know my way around this state and use my GPS literally everywhere I go.
How long might I look at full restriction before being granted monitored? Can I help that in any way?
If I do get granted monitored, what does that actually entail? Keylogging software? How much do they monitor?
If I move in with someone else, how does that work? I may end up having to move to North Carolina with my dad as I've lost my job here and Colorado is very expensive. I was making about $30-40 an hour before (Casino Dealer...did I mention goodbye to the only career I've had? Back to kitchens and warehouses...) but best I can find will be about $15 an hour now, which is rough. Would his devices have to be monitored too? (and on that note can anyone share info on how good/bad NC is for RSOs? I know I'll be bound to the 10 years from CO, but I might not have a choice.)
Any info anyone can give me would be insanely helpful to ease my mind. My life has already turned to absolute hell going through this entire trial and ordeal, but this on top of it...coming home every night and not having anything to do, stuck at home with a curfew, nothing to watch or do...doesn't sound much better than being locked up.
