March 1 2019 - Server Optimization, Item Tweaks, Loads of fixes
We've developed a new optimized repeating task system and moved approximately 200 different mechanisms to it all across the King's Valley. This should dramatically reduce the lag on the play server, especially when it is busy - and almost certainly introduce new bugs.

Major New Features: - Casino Rares added to the Transmog loot table
Minor New Features: - Buffed the Sharpened Holy Feather
- The Sharpened Holy Feather's crafting items can be found once again, 7 of them spawn on a certain tree
- Pyromancer's Staff is now a blaze rod, again, and has been buffed slightly
- Grayskull's Spellcaster is now a bone with the same exact stats as before, making it unbreakable
- Plagueroot Temple now has a one-way teleporter from the Inner Sanctum to the Lookout Platform
- The Elevator Signs in the Sierhaven Academy now say what's on each floor
- Hostile Iron Golems, Dolphins, and Snowmen now count as valid targets for class abilities

Minor Bug Fixes: - The TRUTH door has been reworked, along with its room, and fixed
- Spawners in the Cursed Forest that were unbreakable for safety during Unveiled’s release have been made breakable.
- Several odd bugs with the Inner Sanctum of Verdant have been fixed
- New Royal Bounty chests should stack with each other. We are unable to run item replacements to fix the old chests, however, as they share a common name, and replacing them would likely refill their contents
- The kicked-for-flying mechanism has been made slightly less sensitive to hopefully reduce false positives
- Mana Lance will now apply Spellshock to mobs
- Useless command block in ground removed from Old Labs
- A typo in Outer Demons has been fixed. Azacor no longer happily traps himself
- A Bhairavi typo was fixed in Soul of the Forest
- A typo in a player response to Commander Haynes in Soul of the Forest has been fixed
- Spellshock's description no longer incorrectly states that it gives you regen
- The description of Soul Rend now correctly states it has a 6s cooldown. It also states how many hp it heals instead of incorrectly calling hp hearts.
- Sir Reginald has been taught to stand still
- The Patron trader named Warlock that doesn't sell items for warlocks is now significantly less boxed in and you can get any items you throw at him back
- A mechanism in Starrier Night that wasn't setting scores reliably had its radius increased so that shouldn't be a problem anymore
- About 20 things that made multiple lines of identical dialog appear were removed from Mayleen
- Ten of those were also removed from Gaius
- The Seagate Guard should no longer roam throughout the week
- Pyromania no longer incorrectly tells you that you unlocked Unveiled.

- It is now possible to reopen a "door" during Scars of Magic should you not get into the room before the battle begins
- There is now an emergency escape button in the Scars of Magic boss room
- A scene in a puzzle in Clear As Glass now resets properly if you say "Staggered"
- The Postmaster uses less [""] in his dialog
- Eowen should finally stop repeating what he says and your player should be able to realize that they have a journal on them without forgetting
- The Nyr well chest will empty itself during A Crew to Remember more consistently
- Axtan Monastery's bounty now requires fewer unbreakable spawners to be broken
- It is now possible to break Collapsed Tower's blaze spawners, thus making the bounty possible to complete as well
- Multiple typos of the word received have been fixed in Buried Blade.
- Buried Blade has a more detailed description than "Recieved Smuggler's Key" including not using the non-existent word Recieved
- The Old Labs quest now completes after you are teleported back to the start room. Before, if you had a full inventory you would leave your items in the loot room and have to return to it
- The real wither skull in the Southern Cenote has been replaced with a player head version
- C'Shura no longer uses her lightning fast agility to appear as 450 mobs at the same time in Ta’Eldim

February 8 2019 - Shurima's Big Day Out, Quality of Life Changes, Lots of Bug Fixes
Have you ever wanted to be a hero to the people? Good. Shurima needs some help in Ta'Eldim - her wedding anniversary is coming up and she's got some errands for you to run, in our latest quest, Shurima's Big Day Out! This quest requires completion of Tlaxan Troubles and Fountain of Miracles to start, and begins at Shurima in Ta'Eldim.
Sierhaven as also gotten into the Tlaxan spirit by placing a lovely little flower pot in the teleporter building. Isn’t it beautiful? Give it a whiff!

Minor New Features: - Patron heads updated in the capital showroom, thank you new and continuing patrons!
- A new NPC, Ewan, can be found in Sierhaven in the Alchemy building who can trade your regular logs for stripped wood and logs for a reasonable price.
- There is now a Handbook entry for C'Taz, with coordinates for where to find her. You'll have to visit her again before you can see it, though.

- When you purchase the King's Sabatons, it is no longer announced as the King's Greaves in chat.
- A typo in Bhairavi's dialog has been fixed.
- The Bonus Dungeon Informant no longer gets confused and thinks they are a Wool Dungeon Informant.
- Mobs will no longer spawn within Velara.
- Lighting in the hilariously dark Roots of the Plague puzzle room has been improved
- Mr. Snuggles once again appear during Roots of the Plague.
- It is no longer possible to progress the quarantine Farr portion of Roots of the Plague from within the Plagueroot Temple's lobby.
- The Barista under the Roguelike Puzzle in Anthill has stopped stocking barriers as no one ever traded barriers for them anyway.
- Fixed several []s in the Monumenta Dev Room signs.
- The quest compass for The Plague has been changed. First off, you are now He died screaming too reminded where C'Taz is at every step in case you forget where she is. Secondly, she is no longer called "he" in one of the steps. Finally, the description of where the Ancient Ruins are no longer claims that they are to the east of Nyr as, while technically correct, that is a horrible way to point to them.
- The quest compass for A Crown of Topaz, A Crown of Majesty, Bandit Troubles, Clear As Glass, Pyromania, Runaway Pet, Siege of Highwatch, Missing Soldiers, Sons of the Forest, and Starry Night now point you to various NPCs needed to finish the quest.
- The quest compass for A Pirate's Life now points back to Levyn. In addition it now calls the Ruined Docks by the proper name instead of referring to them as the old docks. Capitalization/grammar also got fixed.
- The quest compass for A Dish to Die For now actually applies to the quest you are playing instead of a beta version of the quest that most of the quest team didn't even know once existed.
- The quest compass for Beasts of Men now recognizes that Pten's team found one of the keys so you only need to find two of them.
- The quest compass for Casting For Help had a word added to fix a grammatical error.
- The quest compass for Mage's Legacy has been updated to point you back to Vargos and Hermy. It also points to Witch's Village. Various "just in case" entries that should never be used were added. Finally, it tells you how to reclaim the Translated Notes should you lose them.
- Claude has become clearer about his tastes in bovine comestibles.

23 November 2018 - Royal Bounties, Amplified POIs, Buffed Grove
Happy weekend, everyone!
With this week's update, we see the return of the Bounty system, which now has a fresh coat of paint! Other content also gets some much needed attention, such the return of the remaining Amplified POIs, a full scale buff to all Grove POIs, the return of the Azacor Boss Fight, and much more!
Bounties hit the King's Valley once again, and this time, they are better than ever! Previously, Bounties use to require searching out a specific chest in a poi. Now, however, the King has decided that he wishes for you to full-on conquer the POI you are assigned. This means you will need to enter a POI and break a certain number of spawners, that number varying depending on the POI. After doing so, you will receive a notification/particles/sound effects that your bounty has been completed, and you may return to the Herald to receive your reward. Bounties still fully functions for groups as well, so gather your friends together and conquer that POI!
Furthermore, 15 new POIs now appear on the bounty list (including, by popular demand, the Cursed Forest!). Wait, no, nobody asked for this. Well, you're welcome anyway, as now all POIs in the game have a chance to be given for your bounty. Additionally, if you wish to complain about your given Bounty, you can now speak to the Bounty Clerk on the lowest floor of Farr's central building. Maybe you and him can... work something out...

- Azacor is now ready to fight, for real this time.. We are sorry for the delay everyone!
- Helring is now offering players that have completed Outer Demons teleports in and out of Azacor's Grove.
- Curious creatures with chests for heads and blood stained bodies have been seen moving around Azacor's Grove. Expect the unexpected.
- With Azacor's attention focused on more than just the grove, his protective magic has faded slightly. Some nasty abominations have snuck their way into the Grove.
- The concealed become revealed. The chains become unbound. Power surges in the Whispering Woods, what could it be hiding?
- The walls shift. The stomping of hooves and screams of its victims echo throughout the hedges. Fear the Hallowed.
- Azacor's full force bears down on his own mansion. Its caretakers have become emerged in the power of the ethereal, and ghosts from the beyond guard the estate.
- Impish screams reverberate through the corridors and halls of the once great Axtan outpost in the Grove.
- Igor's experiments have progressed, and new creations await inside his laboratory.
- The ghosts of late adventurers past fill the tree and towns of the grove.
- Nasty creatures have migrated into and made homes in the underground cavern of the grove and into the tree.
Minor New Features: - All lobby gatekeepers have learned to use Chips as an acceptable way to pay for dungeon / boss keys.
- Item Change: Whispering Chains (Removed Protection, Fire Protection, and Projectile Protection; Added Blast Protection 4; Increased Speed to 15% [was 10%])
- With the rush of adventurers, new pathways have been formed around Azacor's Grove.
- Item Change: Lightbringer (Increased the base damage by 1)
- There are now messages to encourage players to defeat the enemies during The Salmon, which is a step required to complete the quest without having to backtrack.
- Ender chests placed on barriers or bedrock are unbreakable
- The quest compass for The Salmon is now significantly more helpful
- It is now possible to reclaim the Regal Salmon from the dockmaster in Lowtide should you lose it
- It is now far more clear that you have to defeat the enemies that appear during The Salmon. It is also now actually required.
- Harbinger particles in Malevolent Reverie can be disabled again. Note that this works differently than before - each player can have their own settings without affecting other players.
- You can now teleport directly to your plot with the newly-added blue balloon on the docks. This will only work if you have visited your plot at least once in 1.13.
- A few areas of r1plots that were bedrock have been restored
Major Bug Fixes: - A button in the Ruined Mansion used during Winds of War should work again.
- Waterfall Island now amplifies correctly. As before, it will always amplify on a shortened timer, however it now amplifies in 2 minutes as opposed to 3
- The Overgrown Cave now amplifies correctly. If there is no one in the poi at the time of the trigger, the poi will amplify in 2 minutes. If there is someone present, you will have to wait until its next natural respawn.
- The Fire Cave now amplifies correctly. If there is no one in the poi at the time of the trigger, the poi will amplify in 2 minutes. If there is someone present, you will have to wait until its next natural respawn.
- The Jungle Mine now amplifies correctly. If there is no one in the poi at the time of the trigger, the poi will amplify in 2 minutes. If there is someone present, you will have to wait until its next natural respawn.
- Players should no longer randomly teleport to various places used in Time to Reflect.
- A bug that made Time to Reflect impossible to complete has been fixed.
- Fixed Basilisk Arrows + Power Injection leaving behind laggy particle stream until server restart
- A bug that would prevent Hope being added to a item post-Unveiled has been fixed
- Several bugs that existed in the POI Blitz section of Outer Demons have been fixed, and this section now fully operates as intended
- Tridents can be repaired again
- Buying a plot is hopefully fixed (maybe?)
- Phantoms now count as hostile mobs for all class abilities
- Adventure mode area for LB quest has been extended to cover the entire area
- It should now be possible to progress past needing to put a chest in a chest during A Crew to Remember
- The shield washer in Lowtide now operates properly
- The Replica Trader Pressure Plates no longer teleport you into solid blocks
- Quest rewards should once more drop on the ground if your inventory is full. Depending on the mechanism, you might also get a handy "Your inventory is full! Some items were dropped on the ground!" message.
- Amplified Collapsed Tower's mobs spawn for real
- The following boss abilities now stop running when the boss dies: All laser-based spells, All charge-based spells, Changing floor spells (if before floor changes), Fireball spell
- Fixed door in white not opening because the server's chunkloading distance was too low
Minor Bug Fixes: - Color of swamp biome water now flows more naturally into the ocean surrounding sierhaven
- Minor adjustments were made to a line of Vargos dialog 99% of people will never see.
- A spelling mistake is been corrected in the Grove Exploration advancement
- Multiple typos in Keller's dialog have been fixed.
- Fixed some broken signs around the Valley
- Commander Yves has been told that talking in gold is not really an accent, and no longer does so after you have told him a poi to send his men to
- Keller now has a gold name when you find him near the monastery
- The door to Siershen's study in Scars of Magic can no longer get stuck
- Fixed exposed bedrock at Nameless Ruins.
- Montana now gives you the right type of arrows when you complete Starrier Night.
- The shulker station in the Roguelike lobby will now work as intended. Roguelike itself remains closed.
- Plot flags have corrected wool colors

- A few double chests in Arcane Rivalry, Fallen Menagerie, and Malevolent Reverie have been converted to the correct two single chests format
- Ta'eldim particles work again
- Swiftwood Tree sign's typo has been corrected
- Exposed bedrock in Flooded Foyer unexposed
- A special item in Mapleroot Town is no longer hidden by a misplaced slab
- A dialog option that appeared to do nothing in Dish to Die For has been removed.
- The maps in the Scars of Magic puzzle room have been fixed
